| Hi All,
The trip for this week has kindly been arranged by Marc and is as follows:
Trip: O.D.B. - Minera Mountain
Trip Type: General mooch led by North Wales Caving Club as not well trodden by UCET
Meet Point: The Moors Inn at Bwlchgwyn
Meet time: 18.30
Notes: Apparently a straight forward trip with a ladder to enter/exit. Cows tails can be taken if you want.
It is a requirement that all cavers have BCA insurance. | |

| Ian,- you need to refer to the terms of access which I will email to you now.
It is important that all visitors are aware of the terms of access set out by the landowner, though they are perfectly reasonable so nothing to worry about. | |

| The BBC link appears to be dated the 15th March 2010 which begs the question .... Why can't we take and publish footage the cave now ? It even refers to the fact that the "minera trust" want to make the cave "public". So why the secrecy ? Hidden Earth this year are running a video competition and I reckon a good video of ODB stands a significant chance of winning. Anyhow, since "Hidden Earth" obviously think it is "ok" to video the underworld AND publish it - why is there still resistence ...  Ian | |

| Whats the current situation about new members coming along that have sent off and paid for their insurance but have not yet received their cards?
I know there are "unofficial" entries to Hidden earth each year, so i can't see an "unofficial" video/ photos of ODB being submitted to hidden earth being a problem | |

I just hope a NWCC representative will be present tomorrow night for the trip so that they can kindly answer any queries i have regarding the BCA insurance matter | |
