Description
This is believed to be the resurgence from a stream only a couple hundred of feet away higher up the hill (Coed Nant Gain). However, dye testing revealed that the water from above took 4 hours to make the journey through even though the stream above was running well. This would suggest a very lengthy passage.
The entrance to the resurgence is artificial but quickly becomes natural.
Although a blockage now prevents diving, a rope remains intact (travelling through the blockage) which was presumably installed by previous cave divers.
Unexplored Passages
There has been no recent exploration of the passage due to the collapse
