Location
SH 581 741
Directions
On crossing the Menai suspension bridge onto Anglesey (not the Britannia bridge), take the A545 to Beaumaris. There is a hotel/pub on the left after around a mile (possibly called the Antelope, I have forgotten) – park in a layby at the front of this pub/hotel (it is marked on the O/S map).
There is a public footpath (marked) which takes you down to the beach – go to the beach and continue heading towards Beaumaris – you will see the adit in the cliff face on your left (it is very obvious).

It is just above tide level and could easily flood at high tide but it appears not to.

Description
A slightly more than completely uninteresting (trial) adit.
The passage twists slightly and pretends to fork although the fork is very short in one direction.
Other than some rubbish scattered around, the adit is featureless and there are no mineral intrusions to suggest what the miners may have been looking for.
Marks out of 100 would be 1/100.
