It's a 30' air shaft which someone has very kindly laddered the bottom 15'. Electron or SRT depending on the experience level of the group. It is quite big, we spent 6 hours down there and managed to cover most of the mine right down to the bottom levels.

Including this. carved into the limestone that makes up the bottom of the slate vien.

That's how I found it. Off the beaten track right at the bottom of the mine.
