Trip #1 - Ogof Nadolig (Christmas Cave)
Meeting time is 6:30pm to 6:45pm as usual and meeting by the sewage works. Anybody who is coming who is not familiar with how to get to Nadolig; the directions are;
Go to the car park by the bridge at lower Cilcain (where we meet for poachers/OHA) and then drive over the bridge up towards Cilcain village. Take the FIRST right after you have gone up the steep bit and you are heading along a single track road with high hedges. Take the next FIRST right which appears to be a farm track (with an open gate). follow this track down the hill and past a farm (keep on the road past the farm) and you will see some parking places on the left after about 200-300feet (if you go too far the road becomes dead after another 500 feet anyway).
You should be able to avoid getting wet (no running water) but the crawls are a bit muddy
No equipment is required but be aware that;
1) It is squeezy in a couple of places
2) There is a small pitch of around 10 feet which you will need to drop down with the assistance of a rope (in situ)
3) Mike may bring an electron to go down to the lower series and you may want a belt and cowstails if so (optional)
