Weekly plans 22/07/10

Here is this weeks antics:

trip: Bog Mine

Trip Type: General mooch as not many have been before

Meet time: 18.45

Meet point:To be confirmed

Note: The landowner has requested that we take as few cars as possible due to the nature of the lane and the hedges are not cut back so your car may get scratched. I am happy to take the van so you can all pile in the back of that???????The landowner will also be meeting us to show us where they would like us to park etc also.

There are lots of ladders - or so i believe - maybe someone elaborate?????

There is also a winze we need to climb down .... it has a knotted rope to assist descent but you also need to be aware that there is water running down this winze. I think it is about 50-60 feet from memory and my memory is shockingly bad

The meet point is to be the big lay by at Llanferres(on the left hand side if heading towards Ruthin). lease try to be prompt as we need to meet the land owner at 19.00
