Weekly Plans Thursday 2nd April 2009

The trip for this Thursday is ....

Cabin Shaft (Minera Mine)
Meeting at 6:30pm to 6:45pm on the car park near the mine (as previously).

This is a lead mine and is substantial in size. Keep in mind there is an electron access but after that (unless Mike has any funny ideas) no further equipment will be needed and you should remain dry.

If you are not sure where the meet place is, there is a pub (due to rank stupidity I cannot remember the name of the pub) which sits on the crossroads of the A525 (Ruthin to Wrexham) and the turning to Bwlchgwyn. It is a large pub with a large car park. I will meet anyone there are 6:30pm who does not know the meet spot.

phisssss head how come you know the name of ALL the pubs in wales

i beleive joel is bringing some new poeple , do they need any caving suits

If we're taking new people then it will be a good idea to take a safety rope. The double electron climb would be pretty unforgiving if someone were to fall off.

We are doing

I've got 50m of static rope and a Shunt, I think that Ian is bringing the caving belts and lanyards/cowstails.

they will be top roped with a long sling and a belt

No problem, sounds alot safer

I've sorted the caving suits out Mike, picking them up off budgie on the way.
