SH 770 824
Go to the West Shore of the Great Orme and park anywhere near the head of the road which travels around the face of the Great Orme. There is a public footpath running along the Orme heading back to town (the entrance to this footpath is by the gate house at the head of the road leading around the Orme). The cave can be seen halfway up the craggy face, above the footpath.
A grotto or rock shelter
Also known as “Toby’s cave”, this shelter is Idyllically situated overlooking the sea, the North Wales coast and the Pen Morfa Hotel (where Alice in Wonderland was created). This grotto has been home (and may well still be) to people who are sharing the ground with a large amount of sheep sh!t.
The cave is disgusting and should really be avoided.
